Through the Flower proudly announces that Judy Chicago has been selected as one of only three local women to be included in the New Mexico PBS “MAKERS” segments, shown in conjunction with the national documentary, “MAKERS: Women Who Make America.”

The documentary “MAKERS,” building on the archives of Makers.com, will highlight those trailblazing women who have helped shape America over the last 50 years—a period of major social change in our country. The national documentary will premiere on February 26.

The New Mexico PBS will include New Mexico “MAKERS” segments in its New Mexico in Focus series. The segment on Judy Chicago will premiere March 1 at 7 pm MDT. The two other women selected for this series are Governor Susana Martinez and Indian activist LaDonna Harris.
