The Dinner Party reclaims women’s lost history and acknowledges their achievements. Although the Curriculum is art-based, it can be used by all teachers as a guideline for studying and recognizing women’s roles and contributions to society. The Encounters and “Building on The Dinner Party” suggest various entry points for studying The DInner Party; these can be adapted by all teachers to reflect their general course of study (such as history, social sciences) as well as to reflect the students’ age group and experiences.
